Whenever you are planning a holiday in Ibiza it pays to think ahead and see what is going on there at the time you are thinking of visiting.
Ibiza is known for being a party island and if this is what you are intending to do while you are there, why not plan ahead for it? This is a particularly good idea if you are thinking of taking a late summer holiday, or you are planning to get an early break next year. September is the month when lots of clubs have their closing parties, especially towards the end of the month. If you are new to the clubbing scene the last thing you want is to turn up and find Ibiza is closed!
Of course it may not be clubs you want to visit. There are other main events happening all through the year in Ibiza, and they can give you a flavour of what else goes on there. For example Sant Carles takes place on 4th November every year on the island. This day celebrates the life of the patron saint and it can be fascinating to see how islanders mark the date.
It is always a good idea to find out as much as you can about what’s happening in Ibiza even if you have no intention of heading to the clubs. Lots of people visiting the island have the desire to head in the opposite direction to seek out peace and tranquillity. Needless to say if this is you, it’s a good idea to make sure your holiday won’t take place in the middle of the clubbing scene.
This is one of the great things about Ibiza – it doesn’t matter what kind of break you are looking for, you will always find it here. You just need to pick the right time of year to go. Clubbers won’t go during December for example, and yet this could be the best time for people to take more relaxed breaks there.
Whatever you need and whatever you want to do be sure to check the latest events and news before you book.
